World time clocks added to the library

Several clocks displaying time from world cities have been added on the first floor of the library over the front doors. The cities are Tokyo, Los Angeles, Presque Isle, Fredericton, and London.

LIBQUAL Survey coming March 5th

The Library will be participating in an online survey for three weeks starting March 5th. This survey will allow you an opportunity to share your view with the staff and administration on how the library is doing, what services are important to you, what you would like to see us develop, or other items you might like to let us know about. The survey is called LIBQUAL, more information can be found by following this link http://www.libqual.org. Stay tuned for updates.

Business sources added

Several business links useful in tracking stocks and general business reference have been added on the E-Reference page of the Library web site.

Laptops in the Library

If you have an new laptop from the Holidays, please note that the Library has wireless access on all three floors. Over the break, staff identified electrical outlets along the windows on the second floor with small signs to make it easier for you to plug your laptop in while working.

New web site for Mariner

The University Libraries web site Mariner has a new look with enhancements to allow easier access to the resources. Check it out at http://libraries.maine.edu/mariner/

New web site for the UMPI Library

Check out the redesigned web site for the UMPI Library. We've redesigned it to make it easier to find and use the most often needed research tools. We will be adding to the site over the coming semester. If you have suggestions on how to improve the site don't hesitate to make a suggestion.
